Chrysta is a mystic, medicine woman, teacher and energy worker who lives in the Interior of British Columbia.
As a sensitive child growing up in rural British Columbia Chrysta always had a very special connection to Gaia. Spending time in the wilderness catalyzed experiences of deep peace and vibrantly alive stillness which influenced her journey.
Chrysta has dedicated the past 20 years to “reading the book” of nature and journeying towards a deeper connection with all beings. She spent the initial years exploring nature, voraciously studying identification books or herbal materia medicas and wildcrafting food and medicines.
As Chrysta's relationship to Gaia deepened, she began to receive direct transmissions from the plants while spending time in the local forests and mountains. These transmissions led Chrysta on a deep journey of self-discovery and transformation. Eventually leading her her to dedicate herself to a path of Service and assisting others on their journey to freedom. Affirming that anything is possible when we intimately co-create with the land from a place of deep reverence and respect.
Chrysta's formal herbal training has been with with Susun Weed, Ryan Drum, David Hoffman and Chancal Cabrera to name a few.
In 1998 she was certified as a Flower Essence Practitioner through the Flower Essence Society of California.
She graduated from the Luminos Homeopathic College in 2003 and has continued her studies with Louis Klein and Jan Scholten since that time.
In 2012 she completed the Plant Spirit Healing Apprenticeship and the Advanced Plant Spirit Healing and Certification with Pam Montgomery.
In 2019 she completed her apprenticeship in The Way of The Wise Healer with Carole Guyett and has continued with advanced teachings since that time.
In Zen Buddhist philosophy, all of life is considered holy. It is the Zen belief that all individual manifestations of life are interconnected by invisible lines of energy. These lines of energy intimately connect everything in the universe to everything else, in and through the astral and causal dimensions.
